Research shows that kids in peer groups are finding hope and resilience, outperforming 73% of those without this support. Let’s keep growing through grief, side by side. #PeerSupport #GriefJourney #HealingTogether #NonProfit (fb)

We are thrilled to have Meg Buck MCing this year's Flavors of Hope event! Check out her impressive bio below and get your tickets today. Tickets: https://conta.cc/3FqPwHi "Meghan previously served as the Director of Communications at La Rabida Children’s hospital. You may have seen her on WGN, where she spent years as a reporter on the streets of Chicago. In 2017, her reporting about violence against nurses at Illinois hospitals inspired a new state law to protect healthcare workers. In 2019, her exclusive reporting resulted in a Wicker Park Alderman being unseated and indicted for filing a false police report. In 2015, she was a finalist for the prestigious Investigative Reporters and Editors Award for her series entitled “Speaking up for Special Needs.” Meghan is a proud Hoosier, and attended college and law school in Bloomington. She volunteers with the Pro Bono Legal Network in Chicago helping clients expunge criminal records for better access to housing and employment. She’s a proud Wildcat, graduating from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She’s also a co-founder of the North Branch Market, a grassroots collective that runs the farmer’s market in Edgebrook on the city’s far Northwest side." #flavorsofhope #wgn #chicago #youthgrief #brunchevent (fb)
