The Ohio Association for Gifted Children has been advocating for gifted children since 1952. Since 1952, The Ohio Association for Gifted Children has been working with families and educators to promote the best interest of gifted children. OAGC advances understanding of the needs of the gifted, promotes establishment of programs and service TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF GIFTED STUDENTS THROUGH DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION, ADVOCACY ON THEIR BEHALF, ENCOURAGEMENT OF AFFILIATE ORGANIZATIONS AND TO PROMOTE RESEARCH IN THE AREA OF THE GIFTED CHILD.
