The Museum is open Wednesday Sunday 1pm 430pm The Northport Historical Society and Museum mourns the loss of a cherished member of our Society family. Arlene Handel passed away last week leaving behind a lasting legacy of service generosity and dedication to the Village of Northport. Arlenes deep connection to Northport began in her youth spending summers here before becoming a fulltime resident over thirty years ago. She dedicated herself to civic and cultural affairs bringing her experience from a long career at PBS Channel Thirteen as well as theater film and publishing to enrich our community.
