San Diego Cultural Arts Alliance
The mission of The Alliance is to educate, empower and inspire youth through the arts: Prevention, Intervention & Diversion. We believe in solutions. The San Diego Cultural Arts Alliance (SDCAA) is Building Community Through the Arts. Through the Graffiti Hurts© Curriculum and Mural Arts Program, The Alliance takes the creative talent, and urgency of San Diego youth driven to acts of graffiti vandalism and redirect their energy into something sustaining and ennobling that positively transforms the lives of youth and communities. The Alliance exists to ignite proactive methods rather than reactive ones to break the cycle of graffiti vandalism at the root. Our goal is to educate, empower and inspire youth through the arts, along with creating a mural program that gives voice to communities and the spirit of its values.
