Cultivating One of America's Great Streets Through its leadership and partnership activities, AAI supports the physical appeal and economic growth of the Avenue, which in turn attracts new development, visitors and tourists. To reinvigorate Broad Street as the arts and entertainment heart and soul of Philadelphia and the region by providing leadership for the growth of the Avenue of the Arts as a vibrant and attractive place to work, shop, live, learn and play. A non-profit organization, AAI is managed by a Board of Directors comprised of civic, cultural, educational and business leaders.

Avenue of the Arts AVENUE OF THE ARTS Philadelphias signature street where arts and energy collide. For more than a century Broad Street has been the central artery of Philadelphia Long a hub of commerce Broad Street transformed into the Avenue of the Arts and became so much more. Today its a source of pride for the region a vibrant destination for arts patrons and food enthusiasts a fastgrowing residential area and a signature street where the region celebrates its champions and welcomes the New Year. The Avenue attracts a myriad of patrons and generates millions of dollars annually from taxes and direct spending by organizations and individuals.
