Our Artist Spotlight for June is Jill Benson!! After earning her Studio Art degree from Montana State University – Bozeman in 2010, Jill Benson took the scenic route to her dream job—making stops in banking, insurance escrow, and even bear spray sales (yes, really!). These days, she’s living her best art-filled life as the Executive Director of SAGE Community Arts. Jill is passionate about championing the arts in Sheridan and beyond, and loves building partnerships that take creativity beyond gallery walls—onto trails, into schools, and right into the heart of the community. When she’s not dreaming up new ways to connect people through art, you can find her trail running, camping, and adventuring outdoors with her husband, their dogs, and their spirited sidekick, Vivi.
