AQUA-AFRICA INC
A South Sudan NGO that designs and implements water, sanitation & power systems, and teaches communities to sustain the installed infrastructure. Out with aid and in with development. Using access to clean water as foundation, Aqua-Africa works w Aqua-Africa has an international mission to help developing communities in East Africa become aid independent. Aqua-Africa provides reliable access to clean water, sanitation, hygiene and electric energy (WASH+E), implementing solar-powered Village Supplier water towers. It trains communities to govern the installed infrastructure using a unique MicroDemocracy Program. Through its U.S. Program, in the Greater Omaha community, Aqua-Africa seeks to Bridge cultural gaps that exist in the community; helping youth with social and emotional growth. Using their immigrant story, Aqua-Africa's founders visit local shcools and youth organizations to share the organization's story. It has developed a youth STEM summer camp curriculum, that exposes youth to other cultures & global challenges.
