🇺🇦 Since 2022, Bettina Braisted, a craftswoman from Madison, Connecticut, has been deeply moved by the courage and resilience of the Ukrainian people. As the owner of The Sailbag Lady flag company, Ms. Braisted has been donating a portion of her profits from the sale of Ukrainian flags to UNWLA for humanitarian aid. 🇺🇦 She wanted to let President Zelenskyy know that there are Americans who continue to support Ukraine and created a 10' by 15' Ukrainian flag as a message of hope, solidarity and faith in victory. She said she "looks forward to the day when the blue and gold flag will once again fly over a peaceful, free and sovereign Ukraine." 🇺🇦 The flag was given to UNWLA and on May 15, 2025, the flag was solemnly handed over to Consul Nataliia Musiienko, Consulate General of Ukraine in New York during a ceremony at Ukrainian Museum.
