Hawthorne Volunteer Ambulance Corps HAWTHORNE VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE CORPS Proudly serving our community since 1932 CELEBRATING 93 YEARS OF SERVICE HVAC is an independent nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing emergency medical services EMS to the Borough of Hawthorne New Jersey and surrounding communities since 1932. We were founded by the VFW Post 1593. All of our services are provided free of charge. We are staffed 100 by volunteers.
