We’re sending a huge thank you to the West Westfield West Springfield Elks Lodge #1481, Elks National Foundation, Representative Kelly Pease and the incredible community who joined us for a day of building beds and bringing smiles to children in need. Thanks to the efforts of 34 Elks members from three lodges, 9 community participants (including two local Boy Scouts!), and the community who contributed to this initiative, we built over 20 beds and Sweet Dream Kits. These kits are filled with bedding, sheets, pillows, stuffed animals, books, and hygiene products. The impact was felt across the region – #Channel22NEWS, #masslive and #WestfieldNews featured the event in their Saturday evening coverage. As Helen Keller’s once said: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much,” which speaks to the power of collaboration. Thank you all for helping support our mission. #ABedForEveryChild #ElksCareElksShare #CommunityImpact #SweetDreamKits #BuildaBedProject #Bedsforkids25 (fb)

Each April, the Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) hosts a children’s book drive that brings communities together in a remarkable way. This year 21 incredible credit union partners donated over 5,400 books and puzzles to A Bed for Every Child! This generous support ensures that children on our waitlist will not only receive a good night’s sleep but also the joy and wonder of bedtime stories and engaging activities. These books will spark imaginations, inspire dreams, and open up new worlds for children who may not otherwise have them. Your unwavering commitment makes bedtime an adventure and a comfort, and we are deeply grateful for your impact.
