Today 4 members completed Pumps 1 class. This class teaches the fundamentals of pumping and operating suppression pieces on the fireground. The Class is 16 hrs long with a mix of classroom and hands on learning. Also, 2 members completed the Essentials of Firefighter program today with there final Live Burn. The class consists of 4 Mods. Intro to the Fire Service 16 hrs Fireground Support 32 hrs Exterior Firefighting 40 hrs Interior Firefighting 48 hrs Training is an incredibly important part of being a volunteer firefighter. These members completed these classes on their own time to be better prepared to serve their community. (fb)
