Science for sustainable development Ethiopian Geophysical Union International ETGUI is a nonprofit organization that bring Ethiopian geophysical researchers across the world with a mission to serve as a galvanizing organizational platform to advance research and education in geosciences atmospheric and space sciences and promote the achievements of geosciences atmospheric and space sciences for the benefits of the people of Ethiopia and the whole of humanity. ETGUI members meet annually at the sides of the American Geophysical Union AGU conference that is often held by the end of December in San Francisco California. During this meeting ETGUI members present their research set goals for the next year and network. In addition members often meet through teleconference throughout the year to discuss the status of ongoing projects and further strengthening networking.
