📚✨ Our 34th #iMatter group completed the build and dedication of our first Little Free Library. With the oversight of LCCAP staff from David Williamson, Carrie Lyons and Chris Cain, the youth were able to build the library, put together book donation boxes, collect donated books and sort them, and make bookmarks to put in the library. On Thursday, May 22nd, a dedication ceremony was completed for the Little Free Library. The youth were able to fill the library with donated books and the bookmarks that they made. 💙📖 The purpose of the library is “take a book, leave a book”. Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers and expanding book access for all. Their vision is to have a Little Free Library in every community and a book for every reader. Little Free Libraries provide 24/7 free access to books. 📓 We are excited to have this library as a part of our community! Our Little Free Library is located at our Frew Mill Campus outside of our Early Learning & Childcare Center-Building 3A.
