Help for Quitting Smoking and Other Tobacco Use Valley View Health Centers a program of the Community Action Committee of Pike County is collaborating with the Ohio Association of Community Health Clinics and other communitybased health centers in Ohio to promote healthy lifestyles and wellness through a Tobacco Cessation Project. The goals of the project are to implement interventions that will 1 keep people from starting tobacco use 2 increase tobacco screenings in our health center 3 get more people into tobacco cessation treatments 4 increase attempts to quit tobacco 5 get patients more engaged in their tobacco cessation treatment and 6 increase awareness for the Ohio Tobacco Quit Line TQL for providers staff and patients.
