The Montfort Academy is a classical, Catholic high school located in Mt. Vernon, NY. It is ranked one of the 50 best Catholic high schools in America, with a 100% college placement and an 85th percentile average SAT score. The Montfort Academy is an independent, classical curriculum, college preparatory high school for boys and girls firmly grounded in the rich spiritual and intellectual traditions and doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church. Since 2002, Montfort has been educating students in a rigorous and energizing Catholic environment where they delve into the traditions of Western Civilization and learn to use the wisdom of the past to shape a vision for their future. Montfort students are challenged to become leaders who think critically and compassionately about the world and who strive to live virtuously and prosperously in it. Our objective is to promote our students’ intellectual, physical, and spiritual development and to prepare them for acceptance at the nation’s most prestigious universities, military academies, and seminaries. At Montfort, we guide each student to Seek Wisdom, Practice Virtue and Keep the Faith.
