Happiness Is An Inside Job Positive Psychology Podcast + Workforce Recovery & Wellness + Lifestyle Consulting Harvesting Happiness For Heroes offers innovative and integrated mission-driven stigma-free combat recovery services to Warriors and Warrior Families. HH4Heroes inspires a re-framing of the emotional impact of war trauma from an illness/disorder (victim) paradigm to a humanistic/resiliency (victor) paradigm by using scientifically-proven positive psychology coaching tools and strategies that increase self-mastery, self-awareness and self-esteem. Our programming transforms Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) into Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG). Coaching is a more suitable model for the military mind as it is solution focused, mission driven and does not dwell in illness, disease and dysfunction. HH4H programming is a proactive process focusing on the mind, body and emotions designed to reduce stress overload and empower the Veteran to take charge of his/her life. Film is a powerful teaching and healing tool that is an influential portal to new pathways. Transformation can passively begin when a viewer is confronted with new non-threatening ways of thinking and being in the world. Slowly, the mind opens through natural curiosity and inevitably the emotional human heart will follow and be receptive to change. The documentary film, “H-Factor… Where Is Your Heart?” exploring human happiness is the gateway to HH4H training. HH4Heroes multi-disciplinary training can serve as an adjunct to clinical mental health therapies or an alternative treatment modality for those adverse to conventional psychology-psychiatric clinical care. Relief from Post-Traumatic Stress symptoms and a sense of greater overall wellbeing is the mission objective. Warriors learn to decompress from battle and gain the tools they need to adapt their military skills to civilian society.
