It’s Black History Month every month. #NewDayNewDu The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center is the first and oldest independent Black History Museum in the country. It was established in Chicago to celebrate, preserve, amplify the historical experiences and achievements of African Americans. TO PROMOTE THE UNDERSTANDING, AND INSPIRE APPRECIATION, OF THE ACHIEVEMENTS, CONTRIBUTIONS, AND EXPERIENCES OF AFRICAN AMERICANS THROUGH EXHIBITS, PROGRAMS, AND ACTIVITIES THAT ILLUSTRATE AFRICAN CULTURE.
