JASY hosts summer sports camps in Kingston, Jamaica to promote self-esteem, teamwork and achievement JASY primary activities include planning and conducting a week long sports training camp for underprivileged children from the greater Kingston area of Jamaica. The purpose of the camp is two-fold: to build the self-esteem and character of the Jamaican Youth Campers who participate in the program, and secondly to provide a meaningful Youth Mission Outreach / Service Project experience for the youth from the United States who serve as volunteers at JASY Camp.
