Last week the Museum dedicated Capt. Robert Doremus USN new exhibit. Capt. Doremus was shot down over North Vietnam and held a Prisoner of War for 7 ½ years. We also had Lt Dave Batson (Rob's pilot) and his wife with us. Rob was a member of (MMM) Advisory Board up until his passing in 2022. Lori and Warren were thrilled to host this great event. Also attending the event was our (MMM) Advisory Board Member Col. Tom Moe USAF Former American POW, held 5 ½ years with Rob during the Vietnam War. As well as (MMM) Chairman of our Board Steve Rosta, Vice Chaiman Dana Robinson Street, Board Member Roger Dyer and Advisory Board Member Annie Gillen. It was so wonderful to have Rob's family at the Museum for the dedication. We are so honored to be able to keep telling Rob's story. It was a great day. (fb)
