Our mission is to create unique relationships between rescued animals and young people, including juvenile offenders and other kids at-risk. We strive to help them develop a sense of compassion, respect and responsibility toward animals and others. Whether through teaching them how to socialize and train rescued dogs or other animals, involving them in interactive animal welfare activities, or taking them on field trips to area shelters and rescue organizations, The Shiloh Project helps participants become examples of compassion in action.     We believe in the transformative power of the human-animal bond, especially when that bond involves young people making a difference in the lives of homeless animals.
