Weehawken Volunteer First Aid Squad Weehawken Volunteer First Aid Squad Hudson Countys longest severing Volunteer EMS organization Hudson Countys longest severing Volunteer EMS organization providing free Emergency Medical Services to the community since 1969. For almost fifty years the Weehawken Volunteer First Aid Squad WVFAS has been there when Hudson Countys citizens needed help. WVFAS is the primary emergency medical response unit for The Township of Weehawken The Port Authority of New York and New Jerseys Lincoln Tunnel operations The Township of Guttenberg WVFAS also provides emergency medical response to neighboring communities in North Hudson such as Union City North BergenWest New York Jersey City and Hoboken via mutual aid agreements. Our services are free of charge to all of our patients.
