The Big Big Jazz Band The Big Big Jazz Band Inc The Big Big Jazz Band was organized in 1968 as the Bob Troxell Big Big Jazz Band to serve as the pit orchestra at the Fulton Theater for a Lancaster politicsspoofing show written by Donald Goldstrom the first guitarist in the band. For over 50 years we have been serving Lancaster county and surrounding areas with Gary Peters as the current Musical Director. Thus far in its history the big band has played for over 400 fundraising benefit performances concerts for community organizations jazz worship services funerals and other churchrelated occasions. It is estimated they have helped to raise over threequarters of a million dollars to meet these organizations operating needs.
