THE FUND IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO NEW JERSEY EDUCATION ASSOCIATION MEMBERS AND LOCAL AFFILIATES IN TIME OF CRISIS. ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED THROUGH THE PAYMENT OF LEGAL EXPENSES, THE EXTENSION OF INTEREST FREE LOANS OR THROUGH THE GUARANTEE OF LOANS AND THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST THEREON.
