We provide 24/7 contemplative care in our beautiful home for those on hospice in their last 3 months, weeks or days of life β at no charge. We run completely on donations and grants. We teach the art of contemplative living and dying. Our mission: ABODE provides a beautiful home and compassionate care for those at end of life, at no charge. We run completely on donations and grants. Guests who come to ABODE are under the care of hospice agencies. Our well-trained staff and volunteers partner with hospice to provide personal care, meals and support for those in their final 3 months, weeks and days of life. We also offer a robust community education program in which we teach the art of contemplative living and dying. Our vision: We live in a world where death is not feared, and we live fully until we die.
