Where new beginnings have happy endings! Pet Refuge is a limited admission cat and dog shelter that supports the Michiana community and animal control facilities by taking in cats and dogs needing homes and placing them in permanent homes. Our team is volunteer based and amazing! Primary objective is the placement of unwanted animals in adoptive homes. The secondary objective is to perform spay and neuter of pets in the community. Education of preventive care of animals in the community.

Pet Refuge | Where New Beginnings Have Happy Endings WELCOME. Pet Refuge is a nonprofit 501c3 nokill animal shelter located in South Bend Indiana. Backed by a group of amazing volunteers we strive to provide the best care possible for any animal in our care while working to find them a forever home. Our building is located at 4626 South Burnett Drive and we also maintain several foster homes for both dogs and cats.
