A Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Organization Mission: American Tamil Academy’s mission is to inspire and educate the K-12 students and adults by immersing them into the richness of classical Tamil language and thus make them earn language credits.Vision: ATA provides the best platform for classical Tamil language education using proven standard curriculum, methodologies, teacher training and state of the art school & learning management system by vouching:- To continuously improve the curriculum & teaching methodology using results based approach- To create language learning opportunity to every willing person either via affiliated schools or distant learning education using eLearning methods- To collaborate with government agencies, language institutions/councils to establish Tamil Language learning standards and certification of students- To adopt highest quality education methodologies for process improvement and adhere to world class accreditation standards- To significantly increase the number of learners of Classical Tamil as a second language year over year

Home - American Tamil Academy Connecting All Tamil Schools in North America ATA provides all the educational resources to teach Tamil language irrespective of the school size. The infrastructure include standard curriculum printed books SchoolLearning Management Software with communication tools and plethora of performance tracking tools interactive learning tools evaluation materials for trimesters etc. ATA could provide teacher training and offer support in Accreditation process. In other words if the school management can bring in teacher volunteers and classroom amenities with the complete educational resource and support provided by ATA the school would be ready to function successfully from day one.
