Click HERE for information on upcoming EMS training opportunities The Seven Mountains EMS Council is an independent nonprofit 501c3 organization contracted with the Pennsylvania Department of Health to coordinate the Emergency Medical Services EMS programs within a ninecounty area of Central Pennsylvania. The region encompasses the counties of Centre Clinton Columbia Juniata Mifflin Montour Northumberland Snyder and Union. Seven Mountains acts as the liaison between the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the regional EMS Providers on issues such as training ambulance licensure receiving facility accreditation medical command authorization treatment and transfer protocols mass casualty preparation and coordination quality improvement public education and information data collection and complaint investigation.
