Philadelphia Youth Jazz Orchestra (PYJO) is proud to launch a new fellowship uplifting BIPOC women in jazz, made possible by a generous gift from PECO and initial support from Mid-Atlantic Arts. This initiative honors Romona Riscoe Benson, a lifelong leader in arts and community impact, by providing full scholarships and mentorship to two BIPOC female jazz students with financial need.
