Natural Infrastructure Coastal Restoration Take Action Protect state forests from timber industry legislation Your voice is needed to stand tall for Oregons state forests. The timber industry has renewed efforts to undermine the progress weve made to protect clean water salmon and wildlife habitat and safe drinking water for the halfmillion Oregonians who rely on state forest watersheds. Take Action Stronghold rivers and wild salmon need waterand our help Oregons outdated water laws have long prioritized extraction over protection and our rivers and fish have paid the price. But right now we can do something about it by passing Senate Bill 427 and closing a dangerous loophole that currently allows the state to approve applications for water right changes even if they hurt our streams.
