Est. in 1928, the Harriet E. Richards Cooperative House provides alt. low-cost housing to undergrad women dependent on financial-aid at Boston University! Official page of the Harriet E. Richards Alumnae Association. The Harriet E. Richards Cooperative House of Boston University was founded in 1928. H.E.R. House continues to provide low-cost housing & services to a highly diverse group of undergraduate students who would otherwise be unable to afford on-campus living arrangements.  100% of donations to HERAA go directly to scholarships, living stipends & upkeep of our historic residence. We serve 24 undergraduate students each semester on a year-round basis. Students are provided comfortable rooms, full meals, creative activities, academic guidance & mentorship services. Current & former beneficiaries of the Cooperative are forever welcomed into the rich history of "the HER House." Alumni fellowship & mentorship programs are offered on an ongoing basis.
