Anchor Academy students have been hard at work learning, creating, and building—culminating in the construction of a beautiful, hand-built rowboat! This hands-on project was more than just wood and tools—it was a lesson in perseverance, craftsmanship, and collaboration. What a wonderful day at the Children’s League of Massachusetts State Advocacy Day at the State House! 🌟 The event featured inspiring speakers, a moving performance, and well-deserved awardees. Afterward, attendees had the opportunity to visit legislative offices and advocate for key bills and budget priorities — including stronger protections for foster children, expanded tuition and fee waivers for adopted youth, and better pay and loan support for human service workers.
