ICADV is made up of over 50 full service domestic violence service providers working to end violence against women, children & men in Illinois. Through Advocacy, Training and Technical Assistance, ICADV works to eliminate domestic violence. Mission Statement ICADV builds networks of support for and with survivors, and advances statewide policies and practices that transform societal attitudes and institutions to eliminate and prevent domestic abuse. Vision Statement ICADV envisions a statewide community committed to exposing the root causes of domestic abuse and ensuring safety for families by supporting the voices of all survivors.

ICADV is currently seeking a full-time Director of Public Affairs. The Director of Public Affairs will lead ICADV’s strategic communications and advocacy efforts to amplify our mission and ensure our services and impact are effectively communicated to member agencies, legislators, and other government officials, media outlets, and our communities at large. As the organization’s communications lead, you will manage the Communications Coordinator and help shape public perception, influence policy, and foster member and community relationships that support our internal and external member services.
