Our 2025 The Respighi Prize in Conducting winner Denis De Liberali hails from Venice, Italy 🇮🇹, and currently splits his time between serving as an assistant conductor at an opera house in Germany and teaching conducting at a music conservatory in France. Maestro Salvatore Di Vittorio will invite Denis to make his New York debut this Friday leading Gershwin’s Lullaby for strings. Our conducting award is given at the end of our annual May educational program, The New York Conducting Workshop & Competition, as a prelude to our end of season Carnegie performance.
