Mountain Roots is a grassroots non-profit organization, dedicated to experiential education. Mountain Roots provides adventure and discovery learning experiences with a focus on environmentally responsible and community-centered living. We strive to disrupt 4-walled lecture learning, intervene in excess screen time, and provide repose from quantitative testing. Programs are developed with activities that are curated to foster children’s inherent curiosity, nurture their growing brain, and cultivate them as informed students of nature. By taking a holistic approach to our curriculum, we facilitate a meaningful connection between one’s environment, self, and others.
