Director 🤩 How long have you been involved with Mariemont Players? What was your last production? My first show with MPI was “Where’s Charley?” in the late 90’s, and I played Kitty. I moved away for a decade but came back and got the opportunity to perform in or direct several shows over the past 15 years! My last show was last season’s Steel Magnolias, which I co-produced. 😻 Four Old Broads is a comedy filled with wit and mischief. What’s your favorite comedy—on stage, TV, or film—that always makes you laugh? I love comedies in all forms! The Andy Griffith Show and MASH were family favs growing up. Every time the movie “Miss Congeniality” is on the tv, I’ll stop and watch it. Musical comedies such as The Producers and The Book of Mormon have me howling. I just love a good belly laugh! If our Four Old Broads audiences laugh as hard at this show as I do, it will be a successful production! 💃 This show features a hilarious group of retirees living life to the fullest. If you could vacation anywhere with your best friends, where would you go and why? I have a group of dear friends in Michigan and we have known each other for over 20 years. We always joke around and say when we retire, we’re going to combine our money and buy a million dollar mansion and live out our years together. Of course the details also include a pool and lots of cocktails, so I think the characters from this show would approve! 🏰 Four Old Broads is a celebration of strong, independent women. If you could have dinner with any iconic woman—fictional or real—who would it be and why? I would throw a dinner party and invite all six wives of Henry VIII…and a couple of mistresses too…and get the real scoop about their lives!
