EGMH, 1st ever Museum in Americas dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. opens early 2022 in Houston. Its mission is to encourage people to settle conflicts nonviolently. The mission of EGMH is to cultivate universal values of truth, nonviolence, love, peace and service through education and community dialogue and to encourage visitors to embrace these values in their own lives to resolve conflicts nonviolently.

The museum will highlight the power of nonviolent conflict resolution through examples of peace leaders worldwide. Gandhis transformative philosophy of nonviolence led to Indias independence and inspired civil rights freedom and social justice movements across the globe. EGMH will impact the community positively by educating all visitors to choose nonviolent means to settle conflicts.
