TEAM SHAHID INC
Team Shahid is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit that raises $ for families going thru the pains of cancer by participating in the Miami Marathon. Next race is Jan 24 2016 Founded in 2010, Team Shahid was created to provide assistance to cancer patients and their families. The initiative of Team Shahid also extends to educating and promoting a healthy lifestyle through their fitness and health events in the communities of their local chapters. The creation of signature programs such as Team Shahid Cares and The Shahid A. Burns Memorial Scholarship exhibits how the organization strives to make improvements in the lives of cancer patients as they fight to survive and provide aid to lower the financial barrier for college students. With continued support, Team Shahid’s goal is to continue to educate, support and inspire others to live a healthier life.
