Our Mission is to improve the quality of life for Vermonters living with a disability through access to inclusive sports and recreational activities. We work collaboratively with partners across Vermont to enhance and deliver a quality experience to persons with disabilities. As an Inclusion Champion, Green Mountain Adaptive Sports (GMAS) is committed to help build a world where nobody gets left on the sidelines. We further our mission through three main activities: *Financial assistance for Vermont residents with a disability fostering access to adaptive programming *Grants and professional training for instructors who currently work with, or are interested in working with, individuals with disabilities *Fostering the values of inclusion, equity, access, justice, and independence

Home - Green Mountain Adaptive Sports Our Programs Nordic Ski Learn a lifelong sport by applying for oneonone crosscountry ski lessons or for a day or season pass to enjoy independent Nordic skiing at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Indoor Rock Climbing This fun yearround program introduces athletes of all ages to the sport of rock climbing and pushes old pros to their limits at three indoor rock climbing facilities in Vermont. Swimming This popular program focuses on acclimation to the aquatic environment stroke work and competition swimming at four pools in Stowe Burlington White River Junction and Berlin. Making Dreams Come True Green Mountain Adaptive Sports mission is to improve the quality of life for people living with a disability residing in or visiting Vermont through access to sports and recreational activities.
