Sproul founded Ligonier Ministries in 1971 as a discipleship organization and teaching fellowship designed to flood the culture with knowledgeable and articulate Christians. Our core mission is to proclaim the holiness of God to as many people as possible, primarily through the production of trustworthy discipleship resources that can be used in support of the local church. We are committed to the historic Christian faith, the inerrancy of Scripture, and the biblical truths recovered during the Protestant Reformation. Through the work of many pastors, theologians, and teachers, Ligonier has steadfastly served growing Christians around the world through broadcasting, publishing, conferences, and other unique outreaches.
