KIND strongly condemns the House’s passage of a reconciliation bill that dismantles protections for unaccompanied children seeking safety in the U.S. This legislation: 🔺 Eliminates access to legal counsel 🔺 Imposes over $15K in punitive fees 🔺 Undermines bipartisan child protection laws like the TVPRA and Flores Settlement Agreement.
