Celebrating our incredible Girls on the Run coach, Sophie, for her dedication to empowering young girls at the JCC! 🏃‍♀️ Sophie shares her experience with Girls on the Run: "Girls on the Run spends 10 weeks teaching girls to be healthy in their minds and their bodies. We teach them to embrace their own differences and to love their friends and classmates for theirs. We teach them how to celebrate what makes them unique. Instead of feeling divided based on how they look or where they come from, they learn that all of these differences make them who they are. Teaching these girls that their differences make them special is changing their lives and the lives of everyone they come into contact with. We need confident little girls now more than ever!! Girls on the Run has made such a positive impact on my life as a coach. This is my favorite thing I have ever done. I really feel like I am making a difference and I am learning just as much from them as they are from me. I am so lucky to be a part of it!! Girls on the Run is SO MUCH FUN!" (fb)
