The Precast Prestressed Concrete Institute Central Region (PCI Central Region) is a not-for-profit trade association that represents the interests of the precast and prestressed concrete industry in the central United States. Established in 1959, it operates as a chapter of the larger Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI), which is the national organization for this industry.
Mission and Activities
PCI Central Region focuses on promoting the use of precast and prestressed concrete products by highlighting their advantages, such as sustainability, durability, and versatility. The organization represents 24 producer members with 39 plants and 98 associate member companies involved in producing precast concrete products. All producer member plants must be PCI certified, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality standards.

As a registered provider for AIA/CES programming, PCI Central Region offers continuing education resources to educate professionals about the benefits and applications of sustainable precast concrete systems. The organization supports the PCI certification process, which encompasses plant, personnel, and erection certifications.
