Friends In Deed helps low-income residents of Washtenaw County with financial assistance, furniture, congregational services and agency referrals. Our mission is to help people in need and build community to end poverty. Friends In Deed's mission is to help people in need and build community to end poverty. We provide essential support, including emergency financial assistance, transportation, furniture, and life-changing programs like Circles, which empower families to achieve self-sufficiency. Through personalized aid and relationship-based support, we address immediate needs while fostering long-term stability. By mobilizing community resources and promoting social equity, we strive to alleviate hardship and create pathways to a brighter, more prosperous future for all.
