Alleghany Highland All Breed Rescue Inc
Our mission is to rescue animals who are homeless and unwanted, get to know them, rehabilitate them, train them, and find for them the best “forever homes”. Also, to educate the public in the humane treatment of companion animals. We are developing a program for community pet owners to visit nursing homes on a regular basis. This program will help AHABR become acquainted with community pets and their owners, a first step in developing opportunities for education in pet companions’ humane treatment, and to provide a bonding experience with owners and their pets.
