The Healing Walks The Healing Walks The Healing Walks The Healing Walks Foundation is unique as it is the only 501c 3 charity designed to impart selfempowermentpractices and financial assistance to local families who are unable to meet their monetary obligations due to critical illness. The foundation holds several fund raising events each year including group Healing Walks and Runs where participants reflect on positive resolutions to their situations rather than on disease or illness. Medical studies have concluded that it is practically impossible to focus on healing when patients are faced with financial issues directly related to that illness. We know there are families who simply cannot afford medication and other families who are overwhelmed by the loss of a wage earners income and now face mounting medical bills.
