In 2009, the organization collaborated with over 60 local blues musicians to produce the "Jammin' for a Cure" CD, raising over $11,000 to support breast cancer research. This project highlights the Society's commitment to using music to benefit the community.

The Blues Society of Western New York collaborates with local venues, such as Sportsmens Tavern and Fanatics Pub, offering its members discounted admission to blues shows. These partnerships help promote Blues music across Western New York and encourage community involvement.
