Meet The Composer, Inc.
Meet The Composer (MTC) was founded in 1974 to foster the creation, performance and dissemination of music by American composers and to broaden audiences for contemporary music. MTC is the only national organization providing professional fees for commissioning and community activities to composers working in all styles of music and at all career stages. MTC's goal is to continue to find innovative ways to help artists and arts organizations redefine their role in their communities. MTC's programs encourage the integration of music into the broader fabric of American life by creating meaningful connections between artists, performers, community leaders, educators, social service groups, and audiences.
