Last week, we bid our warmest 'farewells' to our amazing Assistant Curator, Christian A. Robinson, as he is off to pursue his graduate studies up in Tallahassee! Christian came to us as an intern for the 2024 summer semester. Although he was quite the youngster, he is most certainly an old soul, and truly fit right into our BRHS family. We brought him on as Assistant Curator while he completed his undergraduate studies at Florida Atlantic University, in History of course. During his tenure, he assisted Sue with all sorts of curatorial tasks, facilitated the many photo orders from our patrons/researchers, published a Spanish River Paper article, learned our Museum & Hotel tours, and really set us up for success in this centennial year. Before he gets started with graduate school up at Florida State, he is spending a month in Morocco studying the Arabic language to further enrich his (already superb) research skills. Although we will miss him dearly, we hope you will join us in wishing this phenomenal young man the best of luck in all of his future endeavors! 🥹 (fb)
