Get to know our Genesis ESL Program administered in partnership with @genesis.umc! We’re grateful to serve the needs of our community through these ESL classes. (fb)

Did you know? Bull City YouthBuild is a leadership development program for youth who wish to obtain their GED, participate in financial literacy and workforce readiness training and obtain employment. We enroll students from Durham who have officially dropped out of school. Students work to earn their high school equivalency while getting workforce readiness training and employment placement assistance. As of April 1, 2025, 10 students have passed the Essential Ed tests in at least 1 subject area (Language, Reading, Math, Social Studies, or Science), and 9 students have passed the practice test for at least one subject area of the GED (English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, or Science). These students are in the process of getting vouchers from Durham Tech to take (and hopefully pass!) the GED. (fb)
