THE SARAH ELAINE WELLNESS CENTER OF SOUTH TEXAS
The Sarah Elaine Wellness Center of South Texas (SEWC) was named after Ms. Sarah Elaine Barrera, 29 y/o, a native South Texan. She calls San Antonio her hometown and has a mission to help veteran and military families with special challenges. Sarah can well relate to significant difficulties as she was the victim of severe trauma as a young child and went through a long journey to become well again. In honor of Sarah's childhood and all those who have known suffering, SEWC was established to channel the family's heart for supporting people in a time of need. Sarah has been a successful member of the U.S. Air Force since April 2012, has won several awards for quality of service, and promoted to SSgt. SEWC's founder is Sarah's father, Daniel Hernandez, Sr. LCSW of San Antonio, Texas. He worked extensively with military families for over 5 years.
